but I'm already listening to Christmas tunes (courtesy of iTunes radio). Perhaps cuz I already expect myself to get past Christmas without noticing it. I imagine I'll be busy and so mentally cluttered that I'll realise it's Christmas AFTER Christmas. The Chrismas-sy mood is always sought after, and cherished. I have no idea why. Maybe cuz I'm more jia-kang-dang type, more ang-moh-pai.
Perhaps one of the most enjoyable programmes to watch for Christmas is the much-loved Mr Bean. His head in the turkey. Tree twigs for snacks. And the one he spends alone, and sent cards to himself; then being very delighted to have received Christmas greeting cards. Sorta bittersweet.
The tunes! Old sonnets. Jazzy ones. Those that swing (can lindy to it!). Instrumental. And those that are just played by brass instruments.. the resounding tones.. very nice. Has a peaceful-Christmas quality to it. Ooh, now it's opera.
Christmas is coming. I'm not ready for it. Pre-Christmas' longer than Christmas, which is like 24hours. So, please, wait a little while more.
