Really?

So I was sick, had a day and a half of rest, and made it back to work in the other half. I told my colleagues that, though I felt a little weak now that I'm out of the house, I had felt pretty okay at home, and that I felt bad for having my mum needing to care for me for another day.

They were hilariously flabbergasted and said "You should have stayed at home! Cherish that! You won't have that luxury when you're married!"

They said, before marriage you hear, "Oh you poor thing", but after, you get "Huh? You're sick again? Why so weak?"

Hahaha.
