Angel

Perhaps the last exchange we had was in French? "Bonjour!"
The most vivid memory I have of you is when we were rattling off French words you'd been learning. It was so much fun, and it was the first time I had gotten to know you a lot better (and I had hoped to know you more).

I remember telling you that "Au revoir" is preferably used for real goodbyes and that it would be better to use "À bientôt" for a casual goodbye / see-you-soon. How ironic that it seems more apt to say "Au Revoir" now. But thanks be to God, it's really still "À bientôt"! For we will surely see you again when we meet in heaven.

We don't know why your time was up so soon and God took you home to be with Him. But we know you are in good hands. We thank God for at least blessing us aplenty through you (as many have spoken about) during the time you were here.

Right now, may God carry us through this temporary loss. May God help us to not to be disillusioned by the harshness of death, but to keep on fixing our eyes upon Him.

You were a unique individual (an angel indeed!) who blessed us a lot. God be with you 'til we meet again.

Till we meet, till we meet,
Till we meet at Jesus’ feet;
Till we meet, till we meet,
God be with you till we meet again.

À bientôt!
