so 2nd time in my entire life, that i puked throughout the day, until there's nothing left in my stomach but gastric juices to puke out. but in addition, I was not at home, where it's best to get through it. But worse, I was at camp, and even worse, I had a group to lead. And in addition again, the first doctor i saw predicted rather eroneously that i might have appendictis.. So I had an experience in the A & E department of NUH. With slight fever, had to adorn a simple mask and head off to an isolated area for those with fever, to confirm if it's infectious or not. It was not, for me, so I could return to the normal waiting area. Turns out it's not appendicitis, a pretty 'duh' issue. was mostly like just a development of the virus already attacking me. viral gastritis of some sort. For the nauseous feeling, and since i guess i was also in a hospital, I was given an anti-nauseou s injection, and was to stay for about 45 minutes, to see if it works, and I can drink water. that's because it was hard to drink or to take in anything, for fear of puking, so i was rather dehydrated. so, again, since it was a hospital, i was in a holding room of some sort, with beds. i think it was for patients who won't be staying overnight, but needed some care and observation for awhile. yeah i was not such a bad case, so i just rested on a sofa.. in the end i was good to go of course.
without food and limited water, and sick, and lacking sleep over 3 or 4 days, i was really really sleepy throughout the day. everytime i was waiting, i felt like sleeping. but then i was afraid to sleep, cuz the first two times i puked, it was after waking up. and then also after travelling in any vehicle, i felt like puking. eck. I'm also thankful that nothing awfully wrong happened when i travelled back to hall myself from harbourfront to jurong point to hall. it was the worst time to be alone.
and this is the worst time to be so ill. during camp, and then school starts next week. and first two days, we have recruitment fair and perfomance.
must recover fast.
